PAUL H. EPSTEIN (1940 - 2022)
The family of Leonard Bernstein, and The Leonard Bernstein Office, deeply mourn the passing of Paul H. Epstein: longtime colleague, advisor, and family friend. Mr. Epstein served as Bernstein's personal attorney from 1975 until Bernstein's death in 1990, at which time Mr. Epstein became one of the three executors of Bernstein's estate. In 2003, Mr. Epstein became Executive Vice President of The Leonard Bernstein Office, a position he held until partially retiring in 2021. We are indebted to Paul Epstein for his brilliance, humor, and steadfast dedication to Leonard Bernstein's work and legacy.
