Bernstein's music performed in ANTARCTICA!
We share with you this video of violinist Dan Zhu performing Leonard Bernstein's "Serenade (after Plato's Symposium)" in Antarctica!
Zhu performed "Serenade" at Monument Charcot in the Antarctica continent during his 3rd expedition trip to the South Pole in October 2019, under the weather condition of -20°C (-4°F) and 40 knots (46 mph) wind speed.
The occasion marked the first performance of a Bernstein work on the seventh continent!
