26 Jan 2010 A collaboration between the 5th Avenue Theatre and the Seattle Police Department, the WEST SIDE STORY PROJECT used gang issues from the 50th anniversary production to educate today's youth. Over the course of three months, teens attended youth summits and worked with Seattle Police officers in role reversal situations to learn more about each other.
