Discography Overview | Bernstein Conducts Bernstein | Bernstein Conducts Other Composers

Leonard Bernstein was one of the most recorded conductors in history. With hundreds of recordings we are fortunate to have a very complete recorded legacy of his performances, made available by SonyBMG and Deutsche Grammophon as well as various other labels. Bernstein not only recorded the standard repertoire, but during his time as Music Director of the New York Philharmonic he championed music of his contemporary peers, and continued to do so. His recordings of the Mahler symphonies are what legends are made of and he recorded on CD two complete cycles. His recorded legacy presents Bernstein conducting such orchestras as The New York Philharmonic, The Vienna Philharmonic, The London Symphony, The Israel Philharmonic, The Orchestre National de France, The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, The Santa Cecilia Orchestra and many others. We present here the complete discography of his performances with direct links to purchase those recordings that are available.
